SR Running rough

hey i just got done wiring my sr up and its idleing rough if i let it sit it will idle down to 500 and sit for a sec then die it runs as long as i give it gas but i want to get this taken care of also some times the starter doesnt want to turn the flywheel what could be happing is the starter going out or is the starter just need to be shimmed like a old chevy

have you checked the tps or mafs wiring? the mafs can do some crazy stuff. I had an oscillating idle with the first couple times dying off from a mafs issue so don't rule that one out either.

check the most obvious and easiest first the maf sensor

hey i searched and i unpluged my maf and it ran perfict is there a way to tell if its the maf or because i dont have the hks bov recerculated i guess im asking is there a way to test the maf to see if its bad im going to clean it tomarrow ill let you know what happens

i cleaned the maf an it did the same thing as before so i guess im going to test it today and if not i need to find a way to recurculate the blow off valve

if you need to recirculate the bov just to test the mafs, then just unplug the bov (block off the vacume line) to the bov and manifold, that will keep the bov from opening, also, Im wondering if you or whoever did the wiring used shielded wire for the mafs???

I figured it out today i forgot to hook up the blow by hose she runs like a champ now idles between 825 and 850 but its better then it was
