The weather here in VA is starting to heat up (80's and 90's) and so is the humidity. Well the other day after on the way to work, i came to a stop and when i accelerated again it was boggy as hell. It just wouldnt go anywhere. I let it sit overnight then she ran great the next day. So im guessing there isnt a boost leak. Im thinkin this is heat soak b/c of the heat but, can it be this bad? I have minor bolt ons intake exhaust. Im also on my stock SMIC and stock boost.

i live a few hours south on 81 in roanoke, and i'm not experiencing any of those problems, and i'm running 13/14psi. try checking your timing, i know my car will sometimes move its timing around, and i move it back to 15 btdc and it's fine

if you can get a timing light, you can hook it up to the '-' wire on the number one coil pack and aim it at the crank pully. then you loosen the CAS and rotate it till the crank shows 15 BTDC

but another thought I have is that you could try this. Disconnect the negative terminal on your battery for a minute and then reattach it to reset the ECU. It could be that it's learned to enrichen itself for some reason and that will erase that particular action.

hey, me too! i've noticed a lack in power lately. Then yesterday it just started running like crap. I can get a round town fine and it still blows off, but if at full throttle, it stumbles like it doesn't want to boost. I drove it this morning and it was fine but then like 5 minutes later it started to do that again. now it seems like it's getting worse. Its kinda starting to do it at low throttle too. i thought it was my negative terminal but its not. I reset the ecu but still didn't work. I'll check the timing tonight to be 100% sure thats not off. i checked my clamps last night but they were on good. i will recheck everything tonight.

i took a ride a few days ago and my car crapped out too. at the stop sign, the idle vacuum went to only -.30 hkpa when it is normaly around -.64. it was giving me a little smoke, like when i get a boost leak, but no boost leak... same weather situation with me too. now my car runs fine, but will only pull -.62 hkpa.???

i did that during my swap. the problem is occaisonal and doesnt happen all the time. i tightened up my intercooler hoses and the problem hasnt come back. so that may be the culprit but i dont think it is completely.

what I don't understand is why the f%$k are couplings so damn expensive. haha.. anyways, i plan on getting new ones. i think mine are just way too ghetto rigged. i'll try a diesel place or something.

there are rubber hose things you use for plumbing, made by a company called fernco i think, that work well for coupling. they can be cut etc... i have been using one on my setup for a year. it was like 4 or 5 dollars. i got mine at the local hardware store.

do you have a new hotpipe? im running stock smic and enjuku hp. well the thing is the hp is 2.25" , and the turbo elbow and smic is 2". soo... do i put a coupling over the 2" and use a 2.25" over that to hold it all together? that's my plan instead of playing 18$ for a 2.25" to 2" coupling. that's just freaking retarded for couplings.
