ok sooo i just swapped an sr into my s13...well the timeing was a little off so we got that figured out and now when ever i go 50 or 75% throttle it just breaks up wont go anywhere...i am running the stock fuel pump but i know people who are using the stock fuel pump with theirs....soo can someone give me some ideas on whats wrong?? my motor is COMPLETLY stock right now...i am hitting and holding 7 pounds so no boost leaks...thanks alot guys!!

Are you sure you don't have any boost leaks?? (Visual inspections are not verification).

You might also want to check your MAF, and I suggest getting a walbro, the stock might not hold up for too long with the SR.

ummm not sure...how to tell if boost leaks...cause when i mash it to the floor it holds 7 until like 4 or 5 grand and the pop pop(falls on face)....soo im not sure...yeah could be maf...not sure...thanks!

yeah, im gonna say the maf to. haha that is the most common for power loss.im sure you already heard you can use a sohc maf on that. soo try that. or a budddy that has a sr.

Search up BOOST LEAK TESTER on google and you'll find the DIY one's, I made mine for like 6$ total and its AMAZING, hook it up your turbo intake side, you'll be able to hear air escaping really easily, just watch your air pressure levels with your boost gauge

ok cool...why cant u use dohc maf?? but i think ill try that and see if thats what it is...

DOHC uses a 4 pin connector, the SOHC is 3 with the 4th one missing, its like s direct plug and play for the SR, unlike the DOHC

Thats my valve cover, its PS, I plan to powder coat it that color, thats why I made it
