MY redtop sr has been doing this ever since i finished the swap. it will miss up until about 2300, 2400 rpm. then go away. UNDER NO LOAD

on a coldstart. it will hardley evermiss. then when warm. it starts missfireing.

ive changed out. mafignitorcoilpackstested o2 CAScheck timing. has original nissan stickers over CAS bolts.i am running the ngk coppers .30gap. @9psi drove for about 55miles. did a plug check. plugs look great.nothing ab-normalrunning 93 oct

i installed an afc-2. at idle when hot the afc reads about 3.0% for the maf. when i unplug the afc-2 it it idles perfectly at 1400 rpm. no missfires or anything.but the ecu is not getting the MAF signal because the afc is unpluged.

i was reading about someone else with the simlar problem with an Rb25.they said they switched to "shielded wire" for the extended maf. and o2. then problem went away. what is shielded wire?

when its underload. (driving) it does not missfire.im going to take a short video of what it is doing.any input???

Both the MAF and the O2 sensors use shielded signal wiring to prevent stray electromagnetic interference from influencing the signals.

In a shielded wire, the shielding is braided around the center conductor and is grounded. If you extended the MAF distance, the extended signal wire should be of the shielded type.

You may have a vacuum leak between the turbo and the intake manifold.
