SR rebuild

Hey everybody, can someone give me a detailed list of what is done with a engine rebuild? I'm about to have this done on my 98 blacktop. I need to know what to look for when I take it apart. Any info is appreciated. thanks guys

Mainly gaskets will be replaced, hardware (bolts, etc.), water pump, bearings. Things of that sort. Also, checking of measurements and clearances to make sure they are still within specs.

thanks Slipstream. Does anyone in San Diego/socal know of a good machine shop. I've heard stories of shops just cleaning up the block and head but not spec them.
