Has anyone every noticed that on the periodic table, RB (rubidium) and SR (strontium) are side by side (what can I say, Chemistry is extremely boring). Coincidence?

and CA (calcium) is right above SR AND its atomic number is 20. CA20 a coincidence? i think not. unfortunately there's no KA, but the next best thing, K (potassium) is right next to CA and right above RB.

No, the S12 came with a CA18e and a CA18et, also a VG30e.

the letters at the beginning are the engine family ( IE CA ), the numbers are the displacement ( IE 18 = 1.8 ), the last letters designate pushrod, SOHC, or DOHC, or special VVT, the E designates Fuel Injection, the T Designates Turbo, etc.
