So i finally recieved my Sr yesterday and plannin to put it in in like 2-3weeks,still waiting for parts to arrive. I have 2 questions. ive tried lookin for both and its been about 50/50 with them. so i figured y not ask the best. so i ended up here.

1. will a ca downpipe fit on the sr? i got it for free from my cousin and im wonderin if it would fit alright in the car. i heard yes and no.

2. Which speed sensor am i supposed to use on the sr transmission. the sr or the ka. im using the stock gauges. i searched and some said to use the sr and theird be no problems and other told me id have to use the ka. but im unsure.

all the info possible would help. im goint o keep search maybe ill find it.

Thanks,Daniel

Im not sure about CA downpipe as I have never experienced this.

But as for the speed sensor, I have a KA speed sensor in mine. I think that's what almost everyone has in their SR trans.

speed is speed. the sensors read revolutions of the output shaft.

At most, the difference between an SR and KA speedo I have ever seen has been a few miles an hour off.

Remember, your US MPH speedo has KPH on it too. Both US and JDM speedos go out to the same max KPH (180 KPH). Now does it make sense to have the SR speed sensor read differently if both speedos have the same increments?

Plus, I believe someone on the boards proved that the US and JDM sensors shared part numbers.
