sr question

i heard that the wire harness and the ecu of a 1991-94 240 can be motified to fit the sr redtop, has anyone done this before? i have a 91

Dont do it.I had mine modified once as an experiment.Many,many headaches later it works but I would rather have bought a redtop harness.And as for the ECU.......no.

what he said. it has something to do with the coil. sr has 4, ka has 1

its easier to just run the new harness than try and figure all that out.

i have have a professional doing it so the harness part isnt going to be trouble for me to find out but about the ecu part what king of problems have you people had?

Please rephrase that. Oh yeah if you said a professional is doing it, a profesional did mine as well and still had problems.

The swap with the SR harness is a breeze I would not even attempt myself to modify the KA unless I was really board and it was my personal vehicle that I did not plan to drive for a while.
