sr question....

just did an s14 sr swap and i have a few question....everything works fine...just when i race through 1st 2nd and 3rd gear i can feel the boost... if i roll on 2nd gear round 2000 rpm and punch it.... i cant feel the boost...

is that normal or is there something wrong???

also i sent out my harness to get rewired and when i put everything back together, the brake light are on and wont go off.... i did auto to 5 speed ....

if anyone have any suggestion, i would be glad ....

Your turbo hasn't spooled up yet, turbo lag is normal expecially at 2,000 rpm!!

check brake fluid level in the master cylinder. if the flud level is ok and light is still on, unplug the connector on th master cylinder, the light should go off.

no no no no ..... sorry for the misunderstanding.... my taillight are on and wont go off.... i have to disconnect the battery to kill the tailight... as soon as i plug the battery on again, it turns on the tailight again...

i did the 5 speed swap too so i was wondering if anyone ran into that kinda problem when doing the 5 speed and sr swap...

as for the not boosting from 2nd gear... seems i have a boost leak on the smic piping.... runs great now... i was just wondering because im still new at turbo....

other than the brake (taillight) not going off, the sr run pretty damn nice... still looking for more room to upgrade, so still not finished yet...thanks again...
