i have a 91 s13 with a redtop that i am in the progress of getting finished up. my swap is so close to being done but yet again i ran into a problem. i have been trying to get this thing in time for about 2 monthes. i lined the bottom up top dead center. so i heard you have to take off the valve cover to set the CAS so i did that but the place that i got my engine off of put a new CAS one on and its aftermarket so it has no yellow paint mark on it where you need to line up. so i lined it up through searching many sites. but after you go through all of this and put it back togeather once you start it and have the timing light on it you can't get it purfect, but once i shut if off it wont start again. i have tryed anything that i can think of, trying it with the TPS plugged in and unplugged so i could use some major help if anyone has any idea what is goin on with it. some one told me that my computer could be messed up. but i will take any advice i can get. thanks

No marks on your CAS!?!?!Sounds like an issue with the CAS then. Might be broken and getting no signal to the ECU. Check your ECU for codes. And I would probably suggest that you get another CAS, a working one. If you've been messing with the timing for 2 month already, sounds like it could be that. I would assume that you would have gotten it by now.

Make sure your TPS is set to .37V at closed throttle also. Might be an issue with your ECU as well.
