Does it even turn? Does the starter go? Did you guys check all the plugs, like for the injectors or for the coil packs? When you put the motor to TDC, did you make sure the crank was lined up to the second mark from the left (if you're looking at it straight on), with the intake cam at about 11 o'clock, the exhaust cam at about 12 o'clock, and the cas line up to the farthest most punchmark before the gear section of the cas (two marks, and a cut out line on the cas)? If you did all that, it should at least fire up enough for you to get a timing light out and set the timing perfect.

well heres how it stands right now.intake cam is at 10 oclock or so and the exh cam is at 12 oclock at tdc.i put the cas in the right way lining up the farthest dot from the back of the cas with the nothc in the cas.we managed to get it to fire a bit and it ran for a second till we relized that the fuel pump fuse was disconnected.ive a feeling that the exh cam is just a hair off and the engine by the time we were done was most certianly flooded.oh yeah and we did pull the plugs out at one point and they were completely drenched in gas.
