Hey guys, wondering if i can get some input on a problem im having with my sr. The car is driving very slow, even in full boost it feels like something is holding it back from accelerating at the rate it should be in full boost. The car is driving like it did when the intake going to my turbo was kinda falling off and i tightened it up again and it ran the its supposed to again. Now its doing the same thing, except now there are leaks in the piping at all, no vacuum leaks either. When i accelerate hard and the boost is going where its supposed to it just runs really slow, and my exhaust gets really loud but no fast fowrad motion like it should be doing at full boost. The motor is stock and running at stock boost in case anyone is wondering. So any kind of input would be great guys, thanx in advance.

I'm going to say your ignition timing is way off. Download the FSM and follow the procedure for setting it.

well when you say you accelerate your car hard and it seems like you arent getting anywhere as fast as you should, are you experiencing any misfiring or any other problems? or just that your exhaust gets really loud and the car doesnt seem to move as fast? if you arent experiencing any other problems then this sounds like a bad clutch. if you have a bad clutch then when you accelerate it will almost seem as if you were in nuetral for a little bit. but yes check the ignition timng first and then let us know

reach operating temperature(fully warmed up)turn off enginedisconnect tpsstart engineadjust idleconnect timing light to the batt terminals, and the signal, to one of the two, black wire loops at the back of the valve coveraim it at the crank pulleythe last notch to the right is 20 degrees, and goes back in 5 dgree increments.you want to be as close to 15 degrees as you can, which would be the second notch in from the rightturn off engine.connect tps.
