my sr was running fine a few months ago but then it wa off the road for repairs/mods.

i went to go start it the toher day but it wont turn over at all.

i figured it was the starter so i tested the starter and when i touched the positive abnd negative together it sparked liek crazy but still wouldnt turn over.

this time tho, i could hear this noise coming from the starter. kida of a spinning noise following by a low grind.

the noise is definately coming from the starter.

is it dead?

is it turning the engine over slowly, or is the starter spinning inside itself?? you gotta elaborate.

no. different all together. i have heard that you can rebuild using frontier or pathfinder parts, but dont quote me. take it to a rebuilder. they will know for sure.
