I want to get an Sr in the near future, but i was wondering what are some mods that I can do now that can eventually help and make easy later for the swap. Some examples I kind of know are fuel pump, clutch, radiator, electric fans, maybe a new slim battery.

Sounds good just try to get the whole car ready for the new motors power. By this I mean make sure the suspension and bushings are good and the car as a whole can handle more power.

Like he said, the suspension and a good differential would be the first things I would do. A brake upgrade wouldnt hurt either, like bigger slotted and drilled rotors.

If your goal is the engine, save all the $ you got. My complete swap ended up around $6000.00 for the mods I used to get everything 100%. The more $ you save, the closer to the SR you will be. If you have anything going bad that won't be replaced during the swap, fix that.

When I decided to do the swap myself, the only thing I was unhappy with on my car was the power. The 240 can handle and stop in it's stock form just fine with the SR, just don't be reckless.

I don't think the KA and SR clutches are interchangable

yea i almost forgot about brakes ha ha there kind of important haha yea is a very good idea to up grade brakes first you dont want to have a fast car and not be able to stop it!!!!!

I think i would hold off from other mods such as brakes and whatnot. They will stop you good enough for now. But like the other guys said. The swap alone with all the bolt ons and new parts, seals, etc etc, and just the nessecities it needs to come together gets into more money than you expect. And theres gonna be alota stuff your gonna need last minute, stuff that comes up missing from your swap... And i would just focus on getting that thing running first before all the other stuff

I regret not cleaning my engine bay when the motor was out
