SR Power/Time list!

Whats going on everyone. I know this has probbly been suggested before or what not, but i was thinking that everyone with a running SR should post some dyno numbers and track times. The reason i say this is because, my cousin drives a MR2 Turbo and ever since i got my 240 hes been talking **** about the sr20 and 240s in general. The messed up thing about is, he told me i should look into buying a 240, and now that i have one, i guess hes scared . But anyway ive also kinda noticed that a good bit of MR2 drivers dont respect SR powered 240s or they just think that no matter what they drive the better car. This list of times and hp numbers would be good cause it would also give a close guess to how ur car would perform with similiar mods. Im tired of hearing my cousin talk ****, no matter what i show him he says thats just that one car, or most SR people are not as fast as they should be. Please help me shut his mouth and people like him once and for all. I would start off first but my car is not running yet and i dont think 0 hp and 0 tq is impressive.

hum...very interesting. I find that everyone with a turbo believes there car is faster than others...I guess it's called a power trip correct?

Well I have no dyno numbers but I did hit the track. 11-12 psi with open differential, crappy used tires, and shifting before 7k, I managed a 14.2 @ 99mph. Sorta slow but hey I had no traction and bad 60'. Clutch wasn't totally broken in right either.

I don't see many MR2's on the road anymore...it's a dying breed. I think he is just a little scared because your gonna steal his thunder away from him. I don't bash on the all mighty 3SGTE but I do find it comparable to the SR20DET. Don't they run low 14's stock? I mean they are lightweight with a strong iron block. I dunno this is a hard one because they handle pretty well from what I hear. I like the look of them better though than the 240 at times like the rear. I think it might be an equal match. Drivers race maybe?
