I'm putting a blacktop s13 sr in an S14, and it seems that none of the power steering stuff lines up. The hose from the reservoir appears to be too skinny to go on the sr pump. Do I need a different pump or is there a different kind of hose that I need?

Also the metal connector from the steering rack (the one with the large bolt that goes through it) is too small. Looks like it was fitted with an adaptor and if I take it off it will bolt on, but then the hose will be at an unnatural angle. How do I make this all work?

Its called costum steel braided lines. I have a company locally that makes high pressure steel braided lines in any size with any fitting.

i was putting on a powersteering pump on today and also found out the same result...as they look like the line are going to fit...its too big or too small.... i did an s14 sr on an s13... i used all my stock lines... and used the sr powersteering because its easier than customizing the ka pump to the sr engine....

there is an adapter on the ka pump where the high pressure line bolts up to.... just remove the adapter and use that on the sr... then just mount the high pressure line on....

thats easier than replacing the lines on the steering rack...

you have a company yourself, or you know a company? How much for a hose that fits both sides?
