Ok so I hooked up my boost gauge and went for a little drive... driving up and down my street I was hitting 10PSI and I was like WTF? I have not messed with the boost level at all yet, I reved a bit more and I saw the gauge tap 15psi... ohh ****, I have a Walbro but the car is not tuned at all.

Nothing happend, I did not blow anything up and the car still runs great but I know there's something ****ed up with the wastegate... could it be the VAC line I have hooked upto the actuator is to small?? (just that normal size small vac line that the KAs usually use) Or is it that my boost gauge is reading more boost then I'm really making?? It's hooked in near the turbo that would make a difference right?? should it be hooked up closer to the TB?

Blah... a busted brake booster and a boost spike in the same day.. I just want to drive

the boost gauge should be teed off the fpr line.i dont think it would cause that inaccurate of a reading though.

SOunds like you have a leak somewhere on the signal line for the actuator

Make sure you have the actuator hooked up to a boost pressure signal. The easiest way is to use a nipple on the hotpipe, and hook that up to the wastegate actuator.

Hmm it's hooked upto the Vac port on the TB that I was told was for the WG actuator.. so Just hook it upto a dimple on the Hotpipe like my boost gauge is?

Ok, here's my setup

From the TB:

Left nipple goes to a T which then connects to my FPR and boost gauge.Right nipple goes to the BOV.Bottom nipple goes to teh charcoal canister and is blocked because i don't need it.

Then one vacuum line goes from my hotpipe nipple to the WG actuator, with a MBC between.
