hey im caught up with the decision of SR or RB20? SRs seem to be over-rated and the RB is a faster, cheaper motor

let me know what yall think please

Do your research before you go on saying SR's are overrated. IMO, if you put the same amount of money into an SR as you do a bone stock RB swap, the SR will outperform the RB.

I'm really tired of all this SR talk and that's always the first swap everyone wants to do.

Wow and I thought we weren't gonna have one of these threads again for a while, well i was wrong.

What do you want from the car, what do you want it for?

I'd say go sr if you want your car to be really light and agile and don't expect tons of horespower with a few mods. The Sr is really cheap and is an amazing bang for the buck.

If you want the car to be very very quick and don't care about a little more weight and you have a higher income and higher mechanical abtitute then go rb. The are two different motors for 2 diff uses.

Good luck

we NEEED to make a stickie [if there isnt one?] that tells people the pro's and cons of RB, SR, KA, 2JZ etc because usually i dont mind these threads but go to the next page and theres 3 more just like it!!

they should have a tutorial or something when you sign up on NICO to avoid this kinda thing

+1 for the 2JZ

Dont get me wrong i love my RB, but between my supra and 240 the supra is much easier to modify and get parts for.

just my 2 cents.

RB20= boo!!! RB25= much better. SR definately a better choice, something more original would be goin LS or JZ.
