That's what I run w/o an oil cooler.

Now with a relatively small oil cooler, I only see those number on a hot day (90+) with AC on.

I highly recommend an oil cooler for you

good luck

I'd be wanting cooler temps than that on my Sr... Getting up into the 210-220ish temp range is when oil starts to break down losing it's viscosity... Optimum heat range for oil is around 165-185, although temps will spike depending on exactly what you are doing with your car...

Ok, what could be causing this? this engine is newly rebuilt stock bottom end with all new rings, bearings ext. top end hks 264"s intake and exhaust, brian crower springss retainers circuit sport ras new valvel guides you get it, I run two 12' electric fans and run rotellia 15/40 am I missing something I also run the top line spark plugs, would a turbo going bad cause this I have no clue? when the engine was rebuilt it started to overheat once then I switched to the two 12' fans anything I can do to lower the oil temp with out spending more money I am all ears, hey thanks for all you guys response
