SR odd issue when cold start

i have a car we swapped and now its got a weird issue when cold starting. it seems like the timing is off or the Idle air controller is not working or something is not right.. i checked plugs, coils, maf, tps, timing... its just odd because once it idles for a few min it cleans itself right up and works fine...

so you're trying to check the timing while the motor is cold? You check the timing while the motor is hot, with the TPS disconnected and the base idle set to 700-800rpm.

no timing is being checked when car is hot...

going to try an altenator because when the car is on charge it is fine. when just on battery, it runs bad cold... very odd... checked all grounds and everything.

well, it ended up being that the ECU is n/g so that sucks...
