Ok, I have a 96 S14. Engine is from a S13 and is a redtop SR20DET. I am not getting fuel to the cylinders.
What I know...
- ECU has power- Ignition has power and is sparking- CAS is working (assuming this due to ignition spark)- Fuel pump is hardwired and turns on when Ign. switch = "On" - Fuel pump is coming on- Fuel lines are installed correctly- Fuel pressure is building- Fuel pressure regulator seems to be working properly- Harness grounds (two grounds) nearest fuel injector plugs are grounding properly and are tied into the same grounding point - Wired acessories all work (wipers work)- White/Black wire that is grounded has a good ground (shared with interior main ground)- Plugs are dry- ECU code - 55 - All Clear- I can smell fuel after cranking the car
What I don't know... - Why the fuel injectors are not firing- Where fuel smell is coming from (cannot locate any liquid fuel anywhere)
I plugged in a pulse meter into the fuel injector plug and it did not illuminate at all. Which tells me I have no voltage at the plug.
Plan to test resistance between ECU pinouts and harness tomorrow.
Any suggestions or insight anyone can give me?
