I immediately thought "ah windings in the starter solenoid", so I went through and trouble shooted the starter. Pulled it off and also pulled off the solenoid for a bench test, which it did fail. I then sourced another OEM starter from a part out near me and installed that, thinking it would fix the issue. Checked the starter inside before the install too, no excessive grime or bad brush connections.
Still doesnt start.... I have checked the interlocks for the clutch, the relay for the starter/clutch and the associated wire paths. Cleaned all the contacts as well, battery terminals and ground, the contacts on the starter itself. Am I missing something obvious here?
Any help would be appreciated.
Seth
