sr not getting spark

i have a blacktop sr20 in my 1990 240 hatch and i'm not getting any spark in any of the coil packs. i'm pretty sure i have the cas right. number one cylinder at tdc on compression stroke and on the cas the furthest dot lined up with mating mark so it would line up with the closer dot when inserted. the coils get 12v but wont fire. after reading through a lot of posts it seems its down to the cas or igniter chip. being i've done the cas about 5 times i'm thinking its the igniter chip. if i could get some input on this it would be great.

yea im having the same issue...if anyone knows anything about this let us know please...i just installed my bc stage 2 cams and it was running for a hour then it was slugish so i pulled the cas out to check timing and now i put the cas back in proper tdc and now i got not starting it cranks but doesnt start..new plugs just put in too and nothing..gas is good injectors fine coilpacks get spark just dont know why its not firing
