Ok it was only cranking. Check to see if had spark and yes. Check to see if fuel and it gets to the rail and I guess is clogged or injectors are ****ed. Put gas in the throttle body and it turns on but turn it off and try to start again and nothing....

S13 Redtop SR. Also when we pull the fuel line it shoots fuel everywhere as its being clogged or just building up pressure...

Anybody?

are your lines correct. I don't know what you mean by it gets to the rail, but if the pump is flowing and you don't have a clogged filter then you need to check your lines. If you want to know if it is really getting into the rail pull the line off the FPR...if it squirts gas every where then you need to switch your lines.

First off, is the fuel pump turning on? Make sure that the lines aren't back wards,. Check the following; fuel pump fuse, relay, wiring for the lower harness (connections good)?

SR starters are prone to making odd noises. As long as it's not a grinding noise, I wouldn't worry about that too much.

Check to ensure that you are getting power (12v) to the injectors, there should be 1 common color wire that goes to each injector and it should have power to all 4.

Did the car run normally before the swap? It may be that fuel is getting to the fuel rail, but not enough pressure for the injectors to spray properly. When you're removing the fuel lines after trying them in different configurations, is there a lot of pressure in the lines? If not then I suspect the fuel pump is faulty.

If there's a lot of pressure in the lines, you will need to test the injectors. First and foremost unplug the harness for the coilpacks (rear of head), now unbolt the injector rail and leave everything (wires/ hoses) connected and have someone crank the engine. If no fuel sprays out, and the injectors have power and the fuel pump is good, then it can only be the injectors.

It is not uncommon for all the injectors to go out at once, too..

im thinking its the fpr. shouldnt it return the fuel its not using? i have the fuel line off of the fpr and nothing comes out.

also the starter makes a loud kind of a chirp sound...

i leave the car alone for about a hour then go and start it and it will start and idle for about 5 sec. then dies...?

It's not the fpr, so quit spraying compressed air in the fuel system. I told you how and what to do.
