sr mtor bracket/mount

my mechanic was putting in the engine, everything for the haltech was wired and everything was going great, then they whent to lower the engine into the car. and they noticed that the engine mount coming off the sr block was cut throught. looks to be a plasma cutter or something, not the black mount, the metal bracket off the block that connects to the mount.

my question was, is this a common problem? and if so, where do you guys or people you heard of get this bracket?

if this didnt happen i would be dyno tunning and posting picks right now:mad:

that's a first i've ever heard of that. that's really crappy.

give the guys at SR20Store a call and see if they can't help you. http://www.sr20store.com

They have a lot of used parts sitting around that you can buy seperate of an engine. If not, you might want to see if a KA bracket can be used, or modified to fit (not sure how close the bolt patterns match up)
