SR Motor
Are there any group buys for the SR motor? If not, is it possible to put one together and try and get a group discount of some sort. I would be very interested in doing the swap, but just don't have all the money and if we could get a nice discount, perhaps I can. Comments?

I apologize to all those people that come to these forums to learn and ask questions, whether they seem like stupid questions or not. Some of us aren't as knowledgeable as others and that's the reason why we're here. Yes I have posted questions that may have seemed dumb to most of you, but believe it or not, it helps others. There is no reason for people to be absolute morons and feel they have to reply with nasty comments. If I offended anyone I really do apologize. Except to that jerkoff that made that comment. By the way jerkoff, if you think I'm so stupid why don't you come look at my Electronics Engineering degree and my MBA degree. Or better yet, what do you do for a living? I sure could use a laugh this morning.

Not everyone knows about cars, and we were all newbies about 240's at one time or another. Its much better to ask questions, then to post incorrect information. There is no reason you should be ahamed to ask questions, but i guess he was so harsh because there is the exact same thread else where on the board..
technically the people importing SR's are doing it as a group buy, ie. midnight, HT, unstable etc.....they get a group of people together that want SR's, then get a container w/ x# of motors for those people. those prices they list are for that. If you tried to bring in a single motor it would be more money than that, so technically, there are group buys....but your not going to save anymore money than those prices you see on the websites. : )
and like i said on the other thread....If there was even to be anything else as far as a group buy, like lets say you buy 5 motors for your (theoretical) shop, you might get $300 or so off the price of shipping those 5 motors to you, most group buys only help off shipping charges...maybe the seller would throw in a free downpipe or something, but it wouldnt be anything significant.
