Yes I know this has been covered before but I wish this was in the FAQ's but it is not. i got a 90 Single slammer and wish to go s14 sr and wanted to know which parts I need to get that are s14 only to make work in my s13 body. here is what i know already

intercooler pipingspeedo/tachdownpipe?exhaust mani?

anythin else that I am missing that when I do an upgrade or during the swap that must be s13 or s14 only? yeah motor stuff for the most part has to be 14 stuff but I heard some 13 products work as well.

thanks guys for dealing with this reposted topic

Wait, what car are you putting an S14 SR into? S13 chassis?

If so...

I put an S14 SR into my S13 a few months ago. What you need is the S13 intercooler piping, because S14 piping will not fit well. You need to reuse your S13 Speed sensor. You will need a DOHC KA or SR tach to get a proper signal. You will need an S13 temp sensor for the gauge cluster to read right. You use an S13 downpipe. No need to change the exhaust manifold.

And you will need to redo the wiring obviously. S14 engine harness to S13 chassis. Hell the wiring really isnt that hard, takes about 45 minutes if you know what you are doing. Extend the mafs and O2 wires. Also you can extend the PS, boost control solenoid, and AC wires if you want to use them. Also if you have the parts you can use an adapter harness like the one we made in the picture so that you dont have to even alter the S14 harness.
