ok i have searched and feel confused so I will now ask, forgive the nooob question but I'd rather ask than learn from mistakes.

Are the ka motor mounts the same as the sr?

I have searched and found information of them being identical but at the same time there are people that advise to use the right mount on the left side and the left mount on the right side ,is this true . please settle this matter once and for all

Yes....

As far as motor mounts go KA=SR=CA

They are all one and the same.

Not take this knowledge, go forth and teach it to your deciples.

No, the mounts vary a bit in thickness. You may or may not have clearance issues if you use different mounts.

OK..... Like I said they will all work on an S-chassis with either 3 motors. The thickness difference you are referring to is only millimeters.

One of the big issues that most run into is using Nismo instead of OEM mounts which are about 7-10mm thicker.

The only clearance issue would be that some strut tower bars won't clear and rub the valve cover after dropping in the new mounts. And also the people who run top mount turbo set-ups which is just for bling factor anyway.
