i just finished my sr swap yesterday. for the last day, i've run it open-downpipe b/c i had to find a junk cat to replace the one i broke during the swap. until about 3000 rpms, the engine bogs and misfires like a *****. today, i put the exhaust back on and it didn't do much (except i wasn't going deaf anymore). i've talked to a guy in my area who knows a good deal about sr's and he told me that chances are it's a bad plug or plugs. i'm going to gap and install my ngk iridiums tomorrow, which will supposedly fix this problem. has anybody else had any experience with this?

My SR is undergoing a similar problem. Bad plug or coilpack.

i had the same problem but it just ended up being one of the connectors to the coil pack wasnt plugged in all the way...double check, it doesn't hurt to check...good luck
