or will it?..

I've heard of this being done before but how efficient is it? do the ports match up well? what does it take to accomplish the fit? (on a bottom mount megan manifold for a s14 sr)

I'll just explain the scenario, I got T-boned as my car lost control and went into on coming traffic from trying to avoid an accident as I crested a hill the car got totaled out and now has a salvaged title so I decided to just get a replacement and went with the same as I had before a 95 s14 se to swap everything from the wrecked car over but seeing as how its cold as crap with about 8" of snow on the ground Im going to wait till later say enhh late march or so to swap it all over but seeing as how my 98 2.5rs-t is still having problems and my s14 just bit the dirt I have to put a little extra juice to what I've got lol but seeing as how its all gooing to be taken out in a couple months I dont want anything too costly just a good bit extra power to tide me over

I have a ton of parts off the wrecked car at my disposal and I plan on switching to a top mount when the SR is swaped over anyways so I dont care to fab the manifold I got to fit

Just get an ebay bottom mount mani for the KA then. The bolt patterns on the head are different KA vs SR, no way I know of to get an SR mani on a KA.

It won't be cheap if done right and probably won't be reliable (motor = boom) if done cheap.

I was afraid you would say that

I would really like to keep the cost to a minimum Im trying to work up a parts list of all that I will need and use most of the parts I've got if possible

things I have:SAFC neo555cc nismosz32 mafihi turboFPRFMIC

things I need?:FMU ?:? (not sure what ratio)manifoldEWG

any othe pieces to the puzzel Im leaving out?

I think a reasonable goal would be 300whp maybe less depending on what the ihi restricts me to

"Costs at minimum" and "300 whp" should never be used in the same post.

It's going to cost around $800-$1000 to get 300 rwhp reliably. If you're going for over 250 whp you should consider an ECU tune or a stand alone system.

oh no no no I understand that much about reliability this isn't my first rodeo lol my goal is just a good amount of hp to run "fairly" safe for 2 months or so this is just temporary and by the posts I've read on here at or close to the 300 range doesnt seem like it should be that big of a task/risk

my thing is I will be pulling the motor I hope even sooner then 2 months so I really dont care if its running on the edge for that short of an amount of timeand between the safc and the fmu throwing fuel at it I dont believe it would be too risky, maybe to cylinder wall wash but that takes a lot longer then I will be driving it

If you're goign to use those injectors and mafs then you will need an ecu tune. FMU's are more for running stock fuel injectors and mafs.
