I searched and I couldn't seem to get a clear answer on this. I have the complete uncut lower harness to my SR and all the plugs seem to fit into the fusebox on the passenger side in some place or another but there are quite a few leftover plugs on the fusebox itself. The KA's lower harness plugs seem to fill up all the spots but the SR's only use like 4 plugs on that fusebox. Are the other plugs just useless with the SR or am I doing something wrong or do I need to take some of these plugs off the KA lower harness? As far as the main engine harness goes all those plugs are completely figured out and plugged in so there are no issues there I'm just concerned with the lower harness plugs. Thnx-Rob-

Usually you use the KA lower engine harness. The engine plugs (alt, start, oil pres) should plug right in. For the transmission plugs (reverse, speed) you splice the SR connectors on or just straight splice the wires to the sensors.

I used my SR lower harness when I did my swap. No problems.

I also used all the SR sensors on my transmission, no swapping. Also, I too had a plug or two at the fuse box that wasn't used. I assumed it was from converting from auto to 5-speed, but maybe its the SR harness (or both).
