So I'm in the process of completely rewiring my S13 SR20. I ordered a brand new engine harness from Courtesy Nissan, it should be here middle of next week.

The problem is that there are wires coming out of my SR's transmission, some from the alternator, and starter. Theres a few connectors still attatched, and every wire appears to be there, but I'm definitely missing some connectors. These wires are randomly spliced into the main harness, and some lead to connectors near the fuse box. Its a big hack job mess. I wish to replace/repair this lower harness (unless its included in the new main engine harness?).

I'm not sure what exactly I'll need, though. Is there a way to use the lower engine harness from a KA 240sx, and just connect all of my random wires to that harness, or will I need a new SR lower harness?

In short, I have a bunch of wires coming out of my SR's transmission, alternator, and starter, with no connectors. What harness/connectors will I need to clean this all up and hook everything up (to the connectors near the fuse box)

thanks in advance

You're refering to the sub-harness, or transmission harness. If you've got plugs cut off the transmission harness on your SR, then it might be worth while to use the transmission harness off your stock KA (assuming you got one still). Either sub-harness will work, SR or KA (s13 to s13 that is).

You could always salvage a sub-harness off a junk yard 240.

All the plugs from the sub-harness go to the right (pass.) side fuse box. I think there's about 4 or 5 plugs, if I remember. And obviously, the positive battery terminal is part of the sub-harness aswell.

awesome exactly the answer I was lookin for! I sold my KA a while ago with the harness, but theres a junkyard up the road with about 7 s13s so I'm just gonna use a KA lower harness. Thanks!

Our junkyards here don't have jack either. Anyway, I wanted to add that I used my KA subharness also, works great. You'll have 2 extra connectors along the transmission for the 4th and 5th gear sensors, which the SR does not have.

I know there are a million places in the seattle/tacoma area, but I'm out on the coast at the moment.

The coastal areas north and west of the seattle area are the best places to find random crap, especially the engine importers.
