it works so good that i cant even get the fans to come on. guess it might make a difference after i finaly put the bumper on but i dun think im gonna see much fan action till summer arrives.

if anyone is lookin around for a new radiator and fans i recomend the koyo and the flexalite 220's. my koyo is for the sr but i had no trouble finding suitable raidator hoses to reroute the top hose. if anyone has any questions hit me up at my email. ill try to get a wiring diagram up for the temp sensing unit that comes with the flexalite 220 fans.

later guys im going to see if i can get my car hot enough. maybe a few hair dryiers blowin through the radiator will do it

these are pics of how i did it. we found the hoses at kragen and then we went to lowes where we got them to cut me a 13 inch piece of galvanized steel(i know its heavy but they didnt have any aluminum) after that we painted the steel. when yoiu put the intake runner back on make sure you zip tie the hose to it or it will be prone to sagging as it is pretty heavy and when the system is pressurize will try to pull the hose off of the bar. other than that its a straight forward process.

only at the top of the radiator where the hose connects but that was because of the temp sensor we put into the hose. you cant see it in the picture but you can see the black rtv we used to seal up the gaps it caused. yeah pretty much when the intake runner is on you cant even see the uppper radiator hose exept for where it comes off the engine

Maybe you could like dirll a hole in the pipe and weld a little pipe piece to make a tee. You could then fashion a rubber gasket or a threaded pice to fit around the sensor and you would not have leakage or mess from the RTV sealant. Maybe im thinking to much but it sounds viable...

I know they are slightly harder to get, but you can just buy koyo radiators for the KA at the same price.

yeah i dont know if that will work or not it all depends on the lower mounts if they are the same and the radiator clears the hood and everything else you should be able to fab some upper mounts.
