I have had my swap for a couple years with no issues. Now I have an issue, it was bound to happen. Started off a little while ago with slight hesitation upon acceleration every now and then. Was still idling fine. Then last night I drove 200 miles and after about 50 miles I started getting slight bucking at WOT on the freeway. On my way home I took a circle on ramp and for a second my door open, oil and battery lights flashed then went away. After that the bucking and hesitation got real bad and I had to baby it home. Felt like it was mis-firing and the idle RPM's dropped, but it wasn't back firing. Made it into the driveway and as it was 2am I just went to sleep. Gonna look into the problems today. What should I check out, other than the obvious possible vacuum leaks? I'm thinking it's either a wiring issue or ignition issue. Help please.

well....check out what ive posted...if its very close to what you experienced then your screwed because for the past week or 2 i have tried everything and still cant find the problem...but along the long list of things i tried ill give you a few to knock off the list...check your grounds...battery and engine bay....sounds like you should check out all your electical first...fuses and such....run threw that with a fine tooth comb....if all checks out move on to boost leaks and all boost leaks...but im sure its something electrical since your oil light and battery light came on...make sure all plugs are snapped on and no corrosion...and then write back to the forums...

Did a visual check, everything was good. I did the swap myself, and I did a quality job of wiring. What I found out was that #3 was not firing. I disconnected each coil individually and they all caused the engine to lug down except for #3. I thought it was the coil so I swapped it with #1 and same thing. So I disconnected each injector individually and same thing with lugging down except for #3. So now I'm thinking bad injector. Is there any way to visually inspect an injector? The problem started off small and got slowly worse until last night. I also read a thread about running Walbro without an FPR and fouling plugs, so I will check that tomorrow to make sure. So, at this point it's looking like one bad injecotr. I think the lights coming on were a seperate problem related to the lateral G's, so we'll see.

Well, I found what the problem was, one of my plugs was bad...and I mean BAD. I'm not talking about being foul either, I'll post a pic soon so you can see what I'm talking about.
