I have a 96 240sx with all the basic bolt on's and then some. Well my car has been hard to start past couple of weeks, so i ask the Nissan online mechanic about a injector leaking which I had read about on some one else car and it sounded like my problem. Well I did the test at my fuel pressure gauge when I clamped the line had 45psi I went out to check on it about an hour later may have been a little more but it was down to 35psi. Now that I need to replace an injector I was going to upgrade talked to Mike(? I think) at Enjuku and he said the stock SR injectors are a direct bolt in and I could use a Apexi SAFC to tune it. Now if I did this would a SR fuel rail work in my car or is the spacing different? Is any one using this current setup? I plan on going KA-T. Also does any one know where i could get a set of used SR injectors? These are side mount correct? Any feed back would be helpful

If I remember correctly, and thats IF, you should use the KA fuel rail as it flows very very well. SR injectors should bolt right up to it. And yeah as he said you will need to take some fuel correction measures, and the s'AFC has lots of fun features in addition that that =)

Im not ENTIRELY sure about the injector info I just provided, but fairly certain. Someone pls confirm.

Yeah KA and SR injectors from the same year will work and the purple top 300zx injectors will work did a lot of reading on Zilvia.net. Also as guy at unStable Hybrids said there fuel rail will work on the SR injectors even though there site says it is a top mount. On the S-AFC you have to set it to -27% 270/370 = .73 1.0-.73= 27% larger. Now trying to find out if you can control the Z32 mafs with the controller

If your fuel pressure is leaking down quickly then you have a faulty fuel pressure regulator more than likely. Especially if the car is hard to start.

It is just hard to start in the morning after i start it up it will start better, in Nissan Tech they said it sounds like fuel injectors cause even if the regulator is bad the injectors aren't open to leak down. Either way good reason to do the fuel system
