So i have a redtop sr in my 90 hatch, and it has only ran right for about 4 hours, before something else went wrong... so i traced the problem to a bad injector. so i got new ones, and it started, but one of the lifters was making noise, so i pulled the valve cover, and checked.. found nothing wrong. so i put it back on and started plugging all the stuff back in, as well as plugging the injectors back in. when i plugged in the injectors the two wires crossed and they sparked. (the reason teh wires are exposed is because i bought blitz 550cc injectors and i started instaling them, and in order to do so, you have to cut the stock plugs off, and install new ones, and then i found out after they were wired that teh injectors dont fit. so i had to use just the wires as a temp fix) well now after that spark, the injectors wont spray.. at all...

So... I have replaced,

The ecuThe Engine Wiring harnessAll the relays checked all the fuseshardwired my walbro fuel pump

and the injectors still wont spray.... i dont know what the deal is.. i have rotated the CAS to try timing, but no fuel is still comming... if i pull the return line off the fuel rail, i do get fuel, and i am also getting spark..

anyone have any ideas???

I think a short in the injector wires would probably take out the ignitor chip.

so im dumb.... i looked over all the fuses about 10 times.. and it still turned out to be one of the small brown fuses in the main fuse box in the engine bay.... it was a small small blow.... so small that i had to pull it out and look at it under light..... fack im pissed...

well at least she runs... now i just have a HUGE boost leak... its a never ending battle with this car....
