I have not been able to find information on this. I have an auto 1990 coupe which i have swapped to manual. When time comes around for the SR what do I do for wiring?
If you look at his link

http://www.frsport.com/Wiring-Specialti ... 17515.html

It say it WILL NOT work with automatic transmissions. Does that mean if you have an auto sr set up it will not work? Or does it mean because I have an auto car, I need a different harness? I know on the wiring specialities site they have an option for auto cars, but what is the difference? I do know the lower harness is different, but can I swap in a manual ka24de lower harness and be OK?

Can someone please shed some light on this? What will I need (wiring wise) to make this work?
Thanks!

I am stupid, there is this:

BUT, is there a different solution I can go with? And again, this with the s13 to s13 sr wiring harness work?

I thought the SR transmission harness was the same as the KA one since they have all the same sensors.
I think the only sort of rewiring you need to do for an SR swap is for the engine.

E-mail WiringSpecialities and they should be able to answer any questions you have.

That is true. BUT, i have a automatic ka24E lower harness in the car now. Can I just plug in a manual ka24DE lower harness in?, or will there need to be modifications. With that said would i need any other modifications?

I would think the lower harness would be swappable, but I'm not 100% sure.
Email Wiring Specialties, they should know everything.
