if you do that, you need a vented fuel cap. you risk the chance of your tank exploding. here is how a carbon can works,,,,the can has a open inlet on the bottom. this leads to a carbon filter. the valve on top with two vac fittings is activated by manifold vac. it opens up so that the bigger of the two vac fittings takes the fueltank vapors thru the carbon filter and into the engine to be burned. the 3rd fitting on the can is where the vapor flows into the can. this serves two purposes.1, to depressurize the fuel tank2, to burn those dirty vapors that escape and kill our planet.180crafter wrote:Why did you keep the canister?
