I have the blacktop Sr20. I did the swap myself, but I ran into a problem. I got the SR to turn on.The thing is I have to keep moving the throttle up and down so it wont turn off, but once I let go off throttle it turns off. Timing is correct were it suppose to be. I have all the grounds connected right. So far I've havent had no luck getting the info I need. I did search first, but couldnt come up with something related to my problem. I would really appreciate it for the help.

Thanks,Raul

Does it run after it warms up? I have this problem (for about 2 years). I usually give it a little gas on start up though, and it runs by itself. If I don't then it dies. If I catch it before it dies though and keep my foot on the gas to keep it idling, it will run by itself after a minute or two when it's warmed up a bit. I've heard it could be a problem with the AIC. Try some carb cleaner on it and see if that helps at all. This has been my experience and I'm not sure if this helps, but worth a shot.

Your off a tooth on your CAS. I had the same problem, barely ran with the CAS cranked all the way to the end of the slot. I moved it a tooth (cant remember which direction mine required), set it where it was before I disassembled the motor, and it ran great.
