so im in a pickle. to make a long story short, I had a 91 hb that i swaped a blown ka out for the sr. some things happened and im finally able to get back to the car.... but i cant use it anymore somehow the chassi is bent and unstable??? dont ask how i really dont know. but i bought another one. but this one has upgrades to it . only problem is that i think the trans is locked and it wont allow the motor to turn over. (during the tow home we stoped and a quiet road with no cars, jumped in the car and put it in first had the driver accelerate a little and it just dragged the tires) but i do have a very very nice sr in my other car. so my plan is to remove the new one and swap with the old one and upgrade the new one as i get the money but the new car didnt come with an ecu or wiring harness. so im going to have to use my old one. prob is that the wiring harness has a different mate to it. the one on the new car is white and the one on the harness is brown. can i match wires and solder them togeather bypassing the pluggin? or would it be safer to get the white male for the harness? if it would be safer to get a pluggin for the harness does anybody have one i can buy off ya for kinda cheap!!? im really broke and im about to loose my job, and my other mode of transportation just blew up on me (mazda ) thanks for all the help guys and gals?? my email is [email protected] if youd like to emil i check it daily. o and a friend bought the shell from me needed body parts

dude I almost got sick reading that post . With that being said it sounds like you got 2 S13 sr motors, one with no ECU or harness. The car you went and bought has the white dash connector (DOHC car), but your harness has the brown connector (SOHC). Go to the junkyard and find a DOHC S13 an purchase the connector you need. Remove your old one, and solder the connector you purchased to your harness. A junk yard will sell you the plug for a couple of bucks.

thanks for the advice.. sorry bout the sick thing im almost sick myself tell the truth. but yes i do have 2 sr's but i think ones locked up. either the trans is or the motor not sure. i know the other is good i spent a little time tearing it down and cleaning it up. im gonna try to hit up one of the junk yards soon. kinda hard when your car decided to take a hardy .... on you. im almost ready to pull the bad motor out. already pulled the good one and is waiting for the transplant. ill put some thought in the harness and see what i can come up with. thanks again. ill update asap!
