Yes true, but your also trying to organize it without firm details. And ya you'll say, "how can I organize it without more people interested?", well just ask around about who all is in the market for an sr right now as we speak and start from there. But dont just start trying to ask who wants to do a group buy without finding out first who is actually ready to buy and what they are looking for. Everyone would love to do a group buy through maybe heavy throttle or someone else reputable. Instead of trying to organize a group buy through someone company that you dont know yet try organizing one through a reputable dealer in the us. There are a few good places to start. Trust me organizing a group buy from someone overseas is not going to be a very good venture,.....for you or anyone else. Look through recent post and email people and when you get enough people interested then you call someone in the US. Money never touches your hand but instead goes strait to the dealer. Now this is a much simpler way to do it dont you agree?

well thanks those are all the questions I've been trying to ask, thats why I was asking if anyone was interested in a group buy. but just getting someone to say im interested im looking for an SR motor is like squeezing blood out of a turnip. IM JUST TRYING TO GET PEOPLE INTERESTED. and I DONT WANT YOUR MONEY.I DONT HAVE ANY DETAILS BECAUSE I DONT HAVE ENOUGH PEOPLE INTERESTED. so far I have 3 people who are interested in buying a SR20det.....Any other takers? is there anyone else who wants a SR20DET and has the money for it? please just say youre interested no harm done THIS IS THE FIRST STEP!!! and after that I will be calling reputable companies, I JUST CANT CALL A PLACE AND ASK THEM NOW saying um, i'm organizing a group buy but i have no group to buy it they'd laugh and i've wasted a lot of time.mojo you just basically summed up what I was trying to say maybe they'll understand a little better now. FIRST I NEED PROSPECTS(possible buyers) THEN THE DETAILS WILL COME.so if you are looking to buy an SR20DET before going and spending 2500+ dollars, if we all get together lets see if we can get them cheaper. SO IS ANYONE INTERESTED IN FINDING OUT?email me: [email protected]

Actually I think it would make more sense to call around first and see if any of teh reputable comapnies would even do a group buy deal. THEN come here with some concrete figures.

It would be my guess that none of them will work with you on a group buy. It is not in their best interest to do so. The SR is in high demand and limited supply. They will move these engines easily without cutting prices. There is little incentive for them to offer a cut-rate price.
