Black Top and Red Top gasket kits. Are they the same? Yes fellas i did search.

when you say "black top" do you mean s13 or s14 or s15????

s13 black top and red top gasket sets should be the same.

dayum! i did not think of that at all. 94-99 gasket kit i assume would be s14 can you guys link some gasket kits for the s13 that you have used in the past.

I bought mine from enjuku last year. If you bought it on their 1 day sale a couple weeks back you could have got the complete kit for 120$

Nissan lists two different part numbers for S13 Gasket Set10101-50F25 S13 Redtop10101-50F27 S13 Blacktop

List on each is $248.04 from Nissan Motorsport and they are completely interchangeable (as far as I can tell). I can't think of any difference that there could be between the two.

The only difference I could think of is the redtop gasket set may use a O-ring gasket for the oil pick-up rather than a flat gasket, considering it uses the older style pick-up.

You can try it. I remember reading someone used got that same kit and the intake and exhaust gaskets seemed to be okay, but the head gasket blew after about a week.

So if you do get it at least buy a quality headgasket too

I've got a metal head gasket waiting bnib at the house. No need to use that crappy hg.
