Anyone know any details about sr fuel pumps? I ask because I am having fuel issues and wonder if i need to upgrade my fuel pressure regulator. I have major hesitation at 3 thousand rpms and i unplugged the vacuum line to the fpr and it ran great for a few days but now getting worse again.

Most people install the Walbro 255 (less than $100)... Isis also makes a 255 as well for even less than the walbro.. The stock fprs tend to fail pretty often as well, so I definitelhy recommend getting an aftermarket one with a gauge...

Sounds more like a fuel pressure regulator issue.
