Just wondering if an SR from an SE-R can go intoa 95 240sx....if no, why?

I searched and didn't see any topics for this.

the easy answer to this is - The SR from the sentra is mounted horizontally, powering a FWD transmission. Not exactly an easy task to convert that to a RWD setup on the 240. It's easier to get a clip from Japan - seriously.

the block itself similar, but different enough that doing that kind of conversion is pointless. Also, the head design is different. All water channels within the block and head are slightly different and you sacrifice the direct coil on plug ignition for starters

Also, the coolness of having velocity stacks on an NA SR is reserved only for 200sx owners. I never should have gotten rid of that car.................

If memry serves:( the FWD and RWD SR castings are different in regards to the moror mount bosses. The inlet of the manifold would also be staring smack at the firewall. Not impossible but neither is mating a goat with a horse:D
