Yes actually, the other day we had a bbq, and i remember the beer deliver dude, said he had a sister, who's exboyfriends brothers girlfriends uncle actually imported motors and had a couple SR20det's laying around....now if we can only find that delivery guy.....

um....do you want the thing complete? or can you deal with a cut wiring harness, no ecu, no turbo etc? are you building it, or do you want to trust it enough to put in your car and driving with it for a couple months before it breaks?

I guess try the places like nippon, and venus, see what they have for *cheap*

I think you might want to check ebay or afterdark tuning also:spit

[hope that sarcasm was sensed]

but really, check first 2, sr20store, ask jgy, but its probrobly not going to be complete.

Good luck, sorry i couldnt help you more

haha, i would like the motor to include intake manifold, turbo manifold, turbo, ecu, transmission, the complete swap, just not the whole clip.

1200 dollars will get you two things. A broke sr, with a prolly bad transmission, and ecu, and cut wires. Or it will get you the motor, but no wiring, ignitor, transmission, ecu, wiring. I suggest you keep saving because if you cant come up with the 2200 to buy a good motor, you will have a hard time affording the whole swap. Just think about everything you need....

ClutchFuel pumpInstall(maybe you do your self) but then tools(engine lift ect)Intercooler of some typeCustom IntakeResurface flywheel, maybe a new onetune upfluids beltsim just getting staterd here, and you will more then likely have problems with your swap when you get it. Just the way it is...... I had over 7 k into my swap, and it was done right and WOULD of ran for a long time if it wasn't for the accident.

Do not plan on spending less than $4000 to do the swap yourself and that is being really cheap and skimping on parts. $5000 is about the bare minimum to do a really nice, clean install including exhaust, fmic, and clutch

The 1200 motor would just be the start of it, IF you could find a good motor for that much your still going to be over 2,000 into the swap.

I think enjukuracing has a motor they'd sell you for that much though, minus ECU and transmission. But it dose have a really cool 'vented block' design.

I got a motor set with the 'good freind' discount, missing MAF and some other small things for $1800. If you find anything less than that and it's all there I'll be amazed.

When you do this swap remember 'take what you think your gonna spend and double it' that's how much it is going to cost you. No matter how much you think it through you will miss things and forget things. Stuff's going to get broken allong the way and or lost. There will be things you didn't even think you'd need that suddenly you require.... and the whole time your without a car so you can't get back and forth to the parts store or work.

Trust me when I say don't get into it untill your totally ready, and don't cheap out. You def. get what you pay for.

Paul

BTW After Dark might take 1200 and promise to deliver you an SR, you should call them.

He was kidding about AfterDark. Currently a whole gripload of AfterDark customers are getting together to try to sue the owner of the company. Enjuku will most likely be your best bet.

1200 can't even get you a stock rebuilt ka24e or ka24de. A rebuilt E goes for like 1600.

Yeah. Go check ebay. There are a number of them being sold for ~1500 (plus 300 or so for shipping).
