Hey guys while i was taking out my cams the washer from one of the gears slipped and went into the front cover. I was looking at the FSM and i was wondering if i can get the washer out without pulling the motor or taking all the pullies off the front of the motor. I already tried using a magnet so any other ideas would helpThanks

if you got an engine hoist available, you can pull the upper oil pan by just suspending the motor high enough to get at all the bolts.

I'd try taking the lower pan off first like Speed said to and see if it omes out from there. If not, it may be trapped by the timing chain, which means you will have to pull the front cover and upper pan to get to it

Get one of those extendable pen rods that look like antennas but have a powerful magnet on the end. Saved me a couple times from a lot of work.

If it fell in the front cover, its most likely sitting on top of the baffle that is right above the lower oil pan. Just take off the oil pan and you will see the baffle.

I have the greddy oil pan and i am having trouble removing it. I was thinking about taking a razor to the gasket but i just wanted to double check and see what you guys thought.

yeah once you get all the bolts off it will still be stuck there pretty good because of the silicone gasket.

Just take a prybar and lightly use it on either side of the greey oil pan that sticks out. I used my sway bar as the focal point and it came off pretty easily. Its going to drop so make sure you are ready to catch it.
