Cool! 197 at what psi? Any torque numbers? ... and are you planning on putting a fan shroud in that?

haha. Forgot about torque. I recorded 192hp of torque at 7 pound of boost. Only thing on this is a front mount/ walbro pump and 3" exhaust. I do have the jdm shroud but i'm trying to keep my ac and it gets in the way so I'm still trying to figure a couple things out with that.

You might be right, I don't know. 192 torque doesn't indicate a measurement though correct? I thought you need to show a indication of power for the torque number?

It's foot pounds of torque, but it varies from country to country.

yup.ft*lbs or newton*meters depending on where you're at.

to calculate horsepower we use torque with rotations/minute and use some type of time/distance (usually lumped into the # 5,250) in an equation.

but 197 hp and 192 ftlbs isn't bad for an SR.

are you happy with the results or do you think you will be shooting for 250-300 soon?

Foot pound... That sound more like it. haha. I was hoping for 210 because I was with a group of Acura tl and their highest was 209 and it was an 08 accord v6. I had one more "pound of torque" then their highest honda though. lol. My goal is for 350 reliablely all day.

I think it always was that way officially. Torque is a measure of force over distance, hence Newton Meters, Kg/m, and lbs/ft. ft/lbs for some reason became common because it's easier to say foot-pounds than pound-feet.

Plus "pound feet" is something you say to a little kid to get them to do something funny so you can laugh at them.

I know you mentioned it, but you need a shroud with that clutch fan, or it's not gonna do anything for you. I thought you could use the KA-DE shroud? I could be wrong, I'm a CA18 guy.
