Well guys I pretty much finished my swap and got to test drive the car today and may I say that I was extremely impressed with the performance. Still trying to get use to the ACT Street/Strip clutch, but otherwise this car is really fast now that it has a sr powering it. Now I have only driven it about 3 times today but I must say that this car just wants to burn its tire everytime I take off and when I shift to second the car wants to go sideways; haven't really got a chance to shift to third yet considering I keep running out of road(lol). My mods are the following:

*Warlbro Fuel Pump *Blitz Universal BOV*Trunk Mount Battery Kit*Apexi GT SPEC *Flex-A-Lite Electric Fans*KYB AGX Shocks *Frount Mount Intercooler *Blitz LM Air Filter *Blitz Down Pipe *HT Hotpipe *HT EZ install Kit *Greddy Boost Controller*Electric Fan Thermostat Kit *ACT Street/Strip Clutch* Iridum Spark Plugs * Custom Intercooler Pipes* Gutted Cat*Autometer Boost, water temp, oil pressure, & Aif/Fuel gauge*LSD

I just wanted to mention that I have only been driving the car at 7psi. To all the guys in the process of doing or planning on doing the swap that you will not be dissapointed. Just wanted to share with you all.

That's great. I will probably (hopefully) finish my swap by tomorrow night. I can't wait. Thanks for the quick review. Those are always appreciated.

I'll post pics as soon as I get my hands on a digital camera. Vboyq the apexi gt spec exhaust comes out in a slight upward angle and is a ecellent exhaust. I have to keep the silencer on at all times cause of how loud it is but has a really nice deep tone.

DriftS14 all I have to say is I have owned a 1984 35th 300zx turbo, 1991 5.0, another 5.0 and a 1991 300zx TT, and the 240sx with the sr is the most fun to drive so far and feels the fastest.

is it not too large for most street cars though, unless your runnning like 15psi all the time?

vboyq I talked to Enjuku and Phas2 and both recommend the Apexi GT very highly. I remember Enjuku saying that it is the best bang for the buck and Phase2 said that it is perfect for the SR because it was designed for a turbo car. Drift it took me two months to finish the swap considering I had hardly any time to work on it and those were two very painful months for me to not drive my 240.

Thank you!

7psi is a buncha power, especially if you're coming from a KA.

Hey El240, congrats on the motor!

I just recently upgraded my SR with a TurboXS boost controller and 3" Greddy PE II exhaust and it was a world of difference from the factory KA exhaust. Right now I am running 8 lbs on the low side and 10 lbs on the high side and it hauls butt! Current mods include:

Koyo radiator2 12" electric fansGreddy VSPL FMICGreddy DPGreddy Type S BOVGreddy PE II exhaustK&N cone filterHT Hot pipeProject Silvia test pipeBlitz R115 Boost gaugeWalbro Fuel pumpRelocated battery

soon to come suspension and clutch/flywheel and then VLSD.

Congratulations and thanks for the encouraging post! I have been having a hell of a time trying to get fine to run-4 mos. now! I also barely have any time to work on it lately. I have a thread to try to solve my problems, maybe you can give me some advice? Thanks.

EL240 but they were using alot biger turbos than the t25 were they not? I mean hopefully i will muster up $$ for somehting else but when i finally get moving i will be running the stock turbo for awhile, and the GT spec is not too large for that?

Hey DriftS14 your engines looks great. Phax 7 psi of boost is a huge difference then the KA and honestly wasn't expecting the SR to pull like that. Thanks SCOOBYSHAG, I don't plan on turning up the boost any time soon because I'm still trying to get use SR. The car totally feels different then the KA and i'm liking it a lot! Hokiruu I will look for your thread and try to help anyway possible and I hope everything works out for you.

vboyq I was thinking the exact same thing as you were on how they are running bigger turbos and all but I did mention this to both Enjuku and Phase2 and they still said that it was a excellent choice. I really couldn't tell you how the car would feel with a smaller exhaust since I did the exhaust while doing the swap, but I can tell you that the car pulls great on the high end. Also I decided to go with the GT spec because I plan on upgrading to a GT25R later down the line. Best of luck to everyone doing the swap.
