SR doesn't Run

1. where can i get a starter for the SR or can i rebuild it

2. when i got it to start the Revs would fluctuate between 200 and 500 and the throttle plate moving did nothing and im getting fuel and spark the highest it would go is 500rpm

any help is greatly appreciated and if anyone needs more info just ask and ill try to find the answer.

1)If your motor set came with a starter than a starter off of a SOHC 240 (89-90) will fit. You just have to swap the guts.

2)Maybe bad MAF (mass air flow)?

i had a bad MAF on my other 240 and its not that

did you cjeck your timing?? I wouldve guessed mafs, but if your sure its good, double check your timing...Check your TPS as well as IACV

how do you check the TPS/IACV also does anyone have a wiring layout for the TPS for the plug what are the colors from one side to the other
