i was reading a magazine and they were talking about using the KA crank in their 200sx (sentra) SR20DE which would make a 2.3l engine. they were not specific about anything but they said that it looked like it would fit. now I really dont care about that but this could mean an easy way to a destroke the KA to 2.1l by using the SR20DET crank. I realize im streaching here a little but that would be cool. more displacement than an SR(WAY more than a CA), an iron block for strength, more responsive + safer revving at higher RPMs than a normal KA (Exars gonna ream me for that one). so what do you all think. go ahead, dont be shy. rip it apart. as far as i know it hasnt been tryed so any input would bring this closer to reality.

If it fits and you want to destroke a perfectly good stroker, more power to ya. I would prefer to keep the fantastic torque curve of the factory crank. But what I suggest is a complete lightening and balance job done to the stock profile KA crank. That with a new valvetrain will make for a very nice motor that will rev higher. My goal is 7500, which is plenty of rpm to get down the track.
